Just agreed on a new 2025 Vantage in Podium Green! Lovely spec and beautiful car. Went in on a whim whilst I was passing, and didn't realise how amazing the new interiors are now.

It honestly felt better than our last Bentley. They're incredible products now. A level about what they've been for the last decade, and I'd say, probably the best interior of any cars presently on sale. That's my honest opinion based on having 2 range rovers, a ferrari and having driven many porsches, bentley, other stuff etc

What a car! Absolutely brilliant piece of kit.

The new interface is brilliant and useable - the quality of materials is at least as good as Bentley now. The design on the new Vantage and DB12 is stunning, just stunning.

It was impressive. I was shocked how impressed I was.

Anyway, had a chat, agreed a deal, hopefully pick up next week.

I don't understand who's bribed the reviewers as they're talking bks.... I'd had many cars and I've been in many more. It looks stuning, best looking car under £200k on sale I'd say, interior was a vast improvement on before, to the extent that I think it's the best interior I've been in outside of a Rolls Royce (am I getting carried away?), it all felt well built, even sounded nice.

I can't believe anyone would go for a 911 instead unless they wanted the anonymity or extra space.

I think the Ferrari 296 is the best looking "supercar" presently on sale (obviously ignoring limited edition stuff), but in terms of a bigger, more useable, more dailiyable offering, the Vantage is the best looking, has a nice big boot, 5 yrs free servicing, well built, extremely comfortable, nice infotainment, I think these should be flying

If you're passing a dealer, go look in, it's stunning

Well I have to say that is some very impressive man maths. Only a few days ago you were looking at Gaydon 2018 V12VS…and now this! Very well done and I look forward to seeing the pictures of your new car and hearing your feedback too.

clap

Congrats ! I think the new Vantage looks much better in person than in photos …the interior is v nice indeed now. Theres a used podium green one for sale for £150k that looks v nice indeed, these are kicking out some serious hp now however I’m currently looking out for something around that marker but it has to be manual and N/A..Porsche the only real option and maybe the GT8 …I wonder if they’ll do a more hardcore Vantage with a stick shift at some point ?

Congratulations on your purchase.
I had a test drive in a Podium Green Vantage last year on the twisties above Monaco.
it’s a great car, very much improved over the previous model.
Looks, interior, engine, usability, nothing wrong to say, I guess you can’t wait to take delivery!
Enjoy the (s)miles!

Cars are so cheap in the UK.

£150k in Australia will get you this.

Also congrats OP. Excellent choice. They are very lovely cars as were the previous model and the model before that. smile
I think the difference now is that they have a lot more mainstream appeal especially in the interior. Hopefully this translates into lots of sales.

Looks lovely - and looks like Aston Wilmslow! They supplied my Vanquish & the DBS previously as well as a number of Vantages!
And just goes to show that in this digital world it’s always good to walk into a physical showroom and get hooked in.
This is what happened to me in that very showroom back in 2007 when I bought my first V8 Vantage.

100%, Jan has been really good. Went in again today to have a look around and tbh the quality of product is fantastic. They had a few lovely colours in stock. Said that Aston is looking to target the area between Bentley and Ferrari brand wise, and makes sense.

They had a lovely N430 in also - and a few interesting colour Vantages, plus a Vanquish that was nice in red. Vanquish is a great looking car

I really wish they would give 5 years of free servicing on these cars here in the US. They give nothing here.

In uk it’s 3 yrs warranty, 5 year servicing

I think it’s to compete with Ferrari as they’re positioning between Bentley and Ferrari here

2025 Vantage owner here - car is now 3 months old - 1800 miles covered so far. Titanium grey with satin copper bronze wheels. Car has been paint corrected, had 100% PPF treatment and Ceramic Coat protection. Also now features a lovely after-market stereo install.

Traded in my 2019 Vantage for this car.

Enjoying most things on new car, however encountering issues with software and the leather on the rear quarter panels isn’t glued to the baseboard, so building up a small list of warranty items to be checked by the Main Dealer at some stage. The ‘piped-in’ engine noise over the speakers is very annoying, and AML Factory have confirmed that this can’t be turned off - v. tiring on long journeys!! I e learned to turn off the irritating, EU mandated, ADAS before every trip - part of the ‘muscle memory’ now! Adaptive cruise and auto-dipping headlights are both features i never thought I’d use, but have come to appreciate how well they work in the car. Still finding the car ‘larger’ though, and those extra 3cm at the ‘hips’ (vs 2019 car) make it even trickier to reverse into the garage.

Car attracts a lot of positive feedback from people and at the Aston event (celebrating 75 years of ‘Vantage’) at the British Motor Museum in Gaydon, lots of folks came over to see the car and say what a great spec it was. It even featured on the AMHT Facebook & Instagram pages following a visit a few days before the Gaydon show.

In the US, Ferrari gives 7 years free maintenance, so they are not competitive at all here.

Lovely cars in both Titanium Grey and Podium Green, I agree the cars look better in person than in pictures but you wouldn't call them ugly when seen in an article ... I may be wrong but, I note neither of you have the premium audio. What is the standard audio like?

Not being able to turn off the piped audio in the cabin is a pain though.

The standard audio is just plain bad - no depth, sound stage or lower end and like listening to an old fashioned telephone!! The B&W 'premium audio' pack isn't too bad, however for me, it wasn't worth £6,700 added cost, especially as I had the aftermarket setup (removed from my 2019 Vantage) ready to transfer over. B&W has recently been bought out by Samsung's Harman audio division, which owns many other mass market car audio brands (Bang & Olufsen, Becker, Crown, Harman Kardon, Infinity, JBL, Lexicon, Mark Levinson, etc.), and it's interesting to see the tiny little Harman tweeters appearing in the dash-mounted 'tweeter pillars' in this 'premium system'!

Here's a diagram of my audio set up (installed by Enhance Audio in Sittingbourne, UK);

....and some photos of the install...

The final photo is the Hertz Mille Legend ML 2000.3 (8”) Subwoofer in Custom-manufactured boot sub-box, and has since been finished in matching Alcantara to blend in.

Thanks for the comprehensive write up Vantagehead .... I could see by the central dash speaker that the upgrade audio offered by AM wasn't fitted but looks like you've more than made up for it. I do enjoy more audio and have the premium version fitted in my 2019 Vantage though it isn't what I would call premium. The Burmester system fitted to my daily car is way better and sounds very good.

I could not go with the bass speaker fitted where you have it as this restricts space for the golf clubs but there must be other ares it could be housed. Love the tweeters on the A pillars, very well finished.

If not already seen, I started a thread describing the audio journey I took in my 2019 Vantage (replacing the premium audio system) - https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&...

The sub box is fully removable (friction fit) and can be easily unplugged when the extra boot space is required.

Bentley here is 3 years maybe?
Ferrari is 7

So its in the middle between both brands - in brand ethos I mean too, like Bentley is more luxury, Ferrari is more sporty, Aston wants to sit in between at that end of the market but between those two extemes
