2007 v8 vantage door locking

Hi guys, after a bit of help!, been having an issue with my passenger door lock, first of all it started to not lock when arming this happened 9 out of 10 times, so started investigating and I changed the door handle circuit card as it looked as if the micro switch had failed, this didn’t solve it, next I swapped out the lock it’s self, this cured the locking issue but another issue arose, now if the car is lock when you are inside either by driving off or pressing the lock button on the centre console, you cannot operate the internal door release handle, first pull unlock the drivers side but not the passenger side there for the second pull doesn’t do anything, if you unlock the doors via the centre console button first then the door release handle works. I have even swapped the door lock again just in case I had a faulty unit. So the only thing left that I can think to change are the door control modules are these would appear to no longer be available in either the new replacement versions when you had to change both side or an original unit. Has anyone had this issue and do the door control modules that are normally associated with mirrors and window dropping functions have any interaction with the locking system.
