Does anybody know if there is an alternative to the original 2 pin coil packs? I know some Ford units fit, but I think that was for the 3 pin version.
Cheers

I understand that the coils from a 2002 jag s-type 3l are exactly the same but you might have to resuse the rubber boots. A regular poster on here paulrog1 has done the job and im sure he will pick this up and comment accordingly

In the past I've installed these 2 pin NGK coils -

All you need to do is to change the rubber boots and springs.

The cheapest AM 2 pin coils are around £86 each now.

The 3 pin coils are very expensive, not sure if there is a cheaper alternative.

Cheers guys (or gals), I had heard of a possible jag option, but it’s nice to hear from someone who has actually done the job and used these parts.

I’ve bought these which are an exact replacement for the 2 pin coils.
