I believe that I used Mobil 1 10w40 full synthetic oil in all my vehicles. I am about to change oil in ’06 AM DB9 and went to purchased Mobil 1 oil and it’s no longer available. My choices are 0w40 European or 10w40 high mileage my car only has 20k miles and heard that the 0 (as least) upon start is too thin and not recommended and the high mileage isn’t recommended either because the additive can have a negative effect on car with low mileage.
Ideally looking for 10w40 full synthetic oil (past Mobil 1)
Any advise would be appreciated

In my DB9 I use the 0W40 from Gulf. A good quality 5W40 would also be acceptable but 10W40 is getting rather vintage now. The thinner oil lubricates very well on cold starts and the 40 provides protection at higher loads than the now common 5W30's. Some hybrids are now on 0W8 which is like water and in my opinion, offers little protection.
The top players all offer a fully synthetic 0W40 such as Mobil 1, Castrol Edge, Petronas and Motul, so personally, that would be my go-to.
