the driver's window on the DBX (3 years old) has just started failing to close when the door is shut, remaining the normal 5mm below the rubber seal which is required to allow the door to open

is there a reset procedure I can try to rectify this? or am I up for a new switch to operate it?

any help appreciated

thanks in advance

Does the window drop and raise on the switch? If you close the door and it stays down the 5mm "short drop", what happens if you drop it all the way on the switch using the "one shot", then raise it all the way back up again on the "one shot"? Does it stop 5mm short, or does it close all the way? Because if the "one shot" works, I doubt it's the switch.
Continuing, if you have the door closed and it's still on the 5mm "short drop", what happens if you press and hold the switch? Does it raise the final 5mm? If you then drop it all the way down with your finger on the switch, then raise it all the way up with your finger on the switch, does it stop 5mm short? Or close all the way?

Have you tried the usual - window down and hold the switch for 5s+ , then up and hold ?

I had this with my DB11 and it was a faulty window module which they replaced under warranty rather than the switch. Not sure if DBX is the same design but I expect so.
