DB9 O2 banks and sensors
Discussion
The Fowell reads and reports on the ECU's independently: I believe it should list them as "12 Cylinder EMS-P" and "12 Cylinder EMS-S" (the P and S representing the Primary and Secondary ECUs, respectively). This means that the Primary is for the left bank, looking from the front of the car, while the right bank is Secondary (I hesitate to use "driver" and "passenger" sides as I'm in Canada). Given that, you still need to see which bank it is referring to (Primary or Secondary) but the Bank 2 Sensor 1 position is the rear pre-cat sensor, mounted near the top of the manifold - and much more easily reached than the post-cat position, mounted closer to where the mid-pipe joins the manifold.
