Are we allowed to ask the values of our cars?

Quick rough estimate would be to go to Autotrader and put your reg and miles in as if you are creating a for sale advert and it will give you an approx listing price for what it recommends.

try Webuyanycar... They at least give you a bottom line price for the car. Ive known their offer to turn out to be half decent tbh, even on Astons...

Of course you can ask for opinions on what you car's worth. You have to know when you buy your insurance!

But, genuine question, why not? Other car forums I use discuss this sort of thing all the time. What are the reasons for not allowing it?
