Can anyone recommend a good source for a workshop manual that would cover the newish gen Vantage?

I believe it is locked behind a Tech Hub membership, but if someone with one could take some screen grabs and compile a PDF... nerd

that would be a big ask and don't believe anyone did it so far

Even some of the independant specialists won't work on the 2018 onwards cars.

Supposedly the diagnostic system is priced at an unrealistic level and has to be online when used, which makes the garage think it could also be cut off at a moments notice.

Yes, this is indeed a problem. I will look into this Tech Hub membership in the upcoming months, if no one did it before, I might compile a PDF.

I’m sure that would be warmly welcomed smile

For more basic things like the cabin pollen filter, which is an optional extra with the UK service package, just buy one of these to fit yourself…

Above the standard filter and carbon odour action the CareMetix version also has an anti-bacterial action.

Not sure how useful that is in my Roadster with the roof often down but there we go!

After 4 years the original one was ready for a change.

It’s a bit of a fiddle to fit, with being upside down head first in the passenger footwell, but definitely doable with a little patience.

Instructions can be found online but it’s basically an aluminium crossbrace and the bonnet release lever handle that you unscrew to get to the white plastic clip holding the filter in place.

The only caution would be the extra care needed if your car were to have a passenger knee airbag.

If we do get a parts page for the AM6 to go with any workshop info then other things to add will be Porterfield brake pads (rears are so easy with the separate EPB), fluid types and quantities, wiper blades, battery, etc. and build from there with people’s experiences.

Apologies for the slight hijack and one last thing is a nice looking boot organiser for the quick detailer and bird poo wipes - it has velcro strips so it doesn’t slide around the boot when you get a bit enthusiastic…

Thanks for the added info Minotaur!

What I would really want from finding or creating a workshop manual is to see how parts are held together. Let's say I want to take out a rear light, I would really want to know beforehand where the screws are, clips and so on. With my previous VH, it was just a matter of seconds on Eurospares or Scuderia websites.

Depending on personal factors, but in spring I will take a look if I can do something about this and contribute to the AM6 community which might be a bit under-represented here.
