The ex-President of Aston Martin Lagonda speaks
Discussion
"For the equivalent electric car, it has to be the same price as an ice car, then you have low running cost, even zero running cost. Forget all the discussions around the environmental impact, it doesn't cost you anything to run. It revolves around the centralisation and the democratisation of energy deployment."
Can anyone interpret?
I like the concept of motoring with zero running cost, it would be my dream.
Every car that I have owned so far though, has involved paying a considerable amount for depreciation as a significant part of the running cost.
After thinking about what he has just said, how can we forget his previous famous statement, "Seven new models in seven years, then repeat."
Possible when he was at Nissan, but obviously impossible when only selling 6,000 car per year.
It has now been many years since AP left AML.
Should we have concerns?
