Considering a relatively high mileage DB11

For a start I guess it depends on what you consider a "relatively high mileage"
Exactly lol.My DB11AMR now has 38k miles on it as I use it most days. It s now worthless obviously as its gone into 5 figures on the mileage but I didnt buy it to be the custodian for the next owner.

The reason for not mentioning the mileage was that when I did previously the AI Guardian decided i was trying to sell or buy the car & deleted the post.
So, it's a 2016 V12 with fifty five thousand miles under its belt & full AM service history.
Thanks for your replies.

So 5k per year - not low, but not particularly high. These cars were engineered for a 10-12 year and 80-100k miles lifeSo, it's a 2016 V12 with fifty five thousand miles under its belt & full AM service history.

The next questions I'd ask would be:
- How many owners
- What condition is it in
- What is the pattern of usage
- How complete is the service history
If, on the other hand, it's had 10 owners, there's gaps in the service history and it's looking a little tatty around the edges, even though it is 10 years old, I'd say that, unless it's a bargain, there are other cars out there. Mechanically these cars are pretty bullet-proof, so buy on condition.
Just my $0.02

Many Aston Martins seem to be very well cared for and are used not as a primary car, but one being enjoyed ocasionally.
Have you been unable to find a lower mileage example?
We sometimes hear tales from owners, who were attracted by the tempting price of a high mileage Aston Martin.
Subsequently, occasionally they then had to spend another 50% of their purchase price, on unexpected rectification matters.
Obviously as our mileages climb, wearable components wear and AML dislike selling replacement parts at ordinary prices.
The car that you are considering might be red with black roof, being sold by a used car dealer, west of London.
Looking at the main dealer offerings, they have some gorgeous low mileage cars (they might trade-out high milers), but the prices are of course higher. I suppose as a part balance, they should be selling the pick of the used cars and provide a 1 year warranty in the price.
