I only got one key with my car when I bought it and trying to find a way to get another and a key sorted.

Key seems to be about £190 cut but then the immobilizer needs programming to the car.

The fob I have questions.

It seems am run 433.92mhz fob.

If I bought say a used Volvo fob with 433.92 MHz chip could that be coded to the car so I could use that and my old fob as well?

Cheers

Coincidental, when I purchased my DB11 in the US it only had one FOB. It went bad (dead) and only the emergency part would start the car. I decided I wanted to restore the original key set that the car would have been sold with which is a metal emergency key and two FOBS.

I ordered these through the Tampa Florida dealership and when the keys were in from the UK the dealership programmed them to the car. Total cost of the key FOB set and metal key and programming $5,000+ USD.
