Hi!
  • Does an early V8 Vantage side skirt fit on a late V12S?
  • What's the best place to source a pair of early V8 side skirts in good condition (would require respraying anyway)?
Thanks!

If you're doing the reverse and fitting V12 skirts to an early V8, I understand they fit no problem but you need rear arch liners from a v12 to fit properly. I think it leaves a gap. That would suggest the reverse is easily possible but you might need new rear arch liners to do it OEM.

Thanks! I was getting this same message on Facebook.

After speaking to the paintshop, I now realise that used ones may be a false economy due to the amount of work potentially required to make them good again before painting. They are susceptible to road rash...

Cheers. That's the other way (changing from earlier to later) but same principle. If it includes painting and blending in, I can imaging £1k.

Can’t be of any help, but I think the v12vs would look fantastic with the early 4.3 tucked side skirts. There’s a reason the V600 has them!

If I ever manage to stretch to a V12/V12S, I would 100% change the sills to the earlier 4.3 ones too smile

I've read somewhere the Henrik Fisker who designed the car did the same to his own V12.....

I also prefer the original design. Maybe the guys at BM still have sills from previous conversions left, maybe even in your body color?
