Hello,

I am thinking about buying a Vantage V12 (2023).
I know that the supension is lot harder than the V8 version.
But does the car drive harsh on normal roads? Is the car too harsh and bumpy?
How hard is the suspension compared to a 992 GT3 and a New Vantage V8 from 2026?
I do have a Tuscan Convertible, but I’m sure that the vantage suspension will be a lot harder.

Yes, it's firm but not harsh.
Softer than a GT3, harder than the new V8.
Way stiffer than your Tuscan, but still daily-drivable. Just dodge potholes.

I have the V12 Vantage, 2024 plate, and even on the soft setting its quite hard, but not overlly. I have never put it to track yet on suspension. The overall drive though is so much better than the V12S though.

Thank you both for the answers.
That’s a very nice Vantage, really nice color!
So on UK B roads it is not annoyingly hard and the car does not jump/skip?
Where I live we have lot of concrete roads.
Some of my cars jump over these roads instead of absorbing the jump.

Could you elaborate on the drive compared to the V12S? I know the transmissions are completely different but really interested to know the rest

Well obviuosly the extra 130bhp helps, as does the extra width as the car just sits nicely on the 21" wheels. As you say the gearbox is just perfect, without having to lift off during gear change.

The carbon seats, dont look comfy, hold you really well and even after a 10 hour drive back from scotland, got out the other end fresh.

I think the removal of the back wing is a personal thing, i lovethe way it looks without. There are a number for sale in the UK if you are looking to purchase

Just dropping by to say I own a V8 one and my want for the V12 is exponentially growing each day... Not super easy to find them in France though.
