Had a small leak in the most inconvenient part of the AC system. I've spoken to my local mechanic who explained that the whole dashboard has to come off at a cost of at least 2k besides no guarantees some fixtures and fittings may break due to age.
Furthermore, a replacement evaporator is almost impossible to find where I live so the mechanic may try to find something that fit once he gets to the leaking evaporator, again no guarantees this will work.

My leak was so small I had to refill every 6 months or so. I was so desperate I tried something called Blue Devil Red Angel AC stop leak which made things worse now the the gas holds for a month only.

Since I was so desperate I gave another product a try and suddenly the leak stopped!

No freon smell the gas holds for two months now fingers crossed and even in Middle East summer the AC is cold.

I bought it via eBay UK for about 20 quid, worth every penny if it holds for a few years

I'm familiar with repair products like that for the water circuit, but I had no idea there was one for the air conditioning circuit as well. Please keep us posted!
