Some dealers do weird things.
There s a classic Land Rover dealer who has made their own branded plaque that they bolt in place instead of the original Land Rover badge on the rear end. If you buy from them, and want it looking original, you have to source an original badge and swap them out at which point you discover that they didn t think to use the same fixing hole spacing for their badge. I’ve just checked their website and they seem to have changed their design such that it looks like it might not even be possible to swap them out without leaving visible holes.
Have seen another dealer who applies their own dealer logo as a decal to the back of the car. Not a window sticker, straight onto the paintwork. I m surprised their customers don t object to it.

Yeap, bought a used Jag from them and it came branded on the boot lid, it was removed within a day of getting the car home, but then not too soon after the Jag Model branding went the same way.
Someone up the road has an Alfa from them, the die cut sticker is looking very tatty, the big semicircle is pealing off and at least one letter is missing.
