In July I received an e-mail from Aston Martin about their privacy policy:

I didn't know they had any data about me so I replied the same day:
'Dear Data Officer, Further to your e-mail, I had no idea you had any information about me. So let's do a test. Please send me all information you hold on me, and we'll see what it is!'

Nothing happened so I sent them a reminder a month later.

Nothing happened.

Is the Aston Martin 'privacy policy' a complete farce? Did anyone here get the e-mail or succeed in getting any data?

( They take it so seriously, that they don't reply. - smile )

It would appear that AML have decided not to reveal to you, what data they hold about you.
Legally, I don't think they have the right to do that.

If you do want to take the matter further, I would ask AI Mode what you are legally entitled to be given.
Probably a Freedom of Information request might be mentioned, where there are legal time limits.
Probably need to go higher than, 'Dear Data Officer'. That person, if there is such a person, might be fresh out of school.

Are you on standby John. October has been the month of market crashes. The 30 year gilt yield has (not surprisingly) now reached 6%. Many warning signs appear to be present, but of course no one knows the timing.

I will send my butler round to give him a good kicking. He's a nasty piece of work when he gets going. You know those murder mysteries? It's always him wot did it. He finishes polishing the silver then says he's popping out for a bit of fresh air...

March has been crash time recently - Covid, Ukraine, Tariffs...
