An ex Audi sales guy now making his way in business started Warford Cars in Cheshire a few years back and seems to be doing well. He recently posted a video about Aston Martin and his thoughts on the brand.

This video has already been referenced in the “Share Price” thread.

It’s pretty lightweight

Indeed and there have been no replies in that thread since the link was posted. I started to watch it but decided to give up when they misquoted the power figure for the latest “Astin Martin” Vantage S more than once. rolleyes
BRM.

No problem and no criticism intended - other than the fluff of the video beneath the click-bait-y subject

The presenter has gathered some facts (as you say, not power figures), but for those of us who have followed and studied the history of first Bamford Martin, then Aston Martin, we might have a greater understanding about the business than Will Kennedy.

In the video, Will mostly seems to be talking about the 2018 onwards period.

With regard to his comments about initial depreciation, I wonder if today is really very different from the VH era. Certainly in Pounds it does appear huge, but what about percentage.
Inflation can cause confusion.

The VH Vantage, say with a selection of first customer options, might have cost £95,000 new.
Two year old examples were subsequently being offered by main dealers, for not much over £60,000.
37% depreciation in 2 years, even more when including the dealer margin.

The Porsche depreciation comparison may be valid though.

I only skimmed through it but appears really more like an advert for his used car business and nothing particularly new or earth shattering revealed.
