Vanquish II Boot Leak

My car has a small leak in the front of the boot (i.e. far back of the car) which manifests itself as a damp patch at the bottom of the vertical strip of carpet beneath the boot opening. When we've just had a little rain it seems to be restricted to the off side, somewhere between the number plate and the off side light cluster.
I have peeled back the carpets and there is a tell-tale trace of water running below a length of wiring harness, but further dismantling looks like a challenge.
There was a different leak when I first bought the car five years ago which the dealer traced to the seals around each light cluster and fixed without quibble, but that leak was a little further outboard and affected the "well" in the boot floor at each flank.
I don't think this is related, but I also recently noticed that the top of the main boot lid seal got wet and I fixed that by simply adding some black draught excluder to the top of the seal to increase its height. Honestly, unless you really know what the original seal looks like, you wouldn't be ale to tell the difference.
I did ask at the main dealer when I took the car in for service last month, but they hadn't heard of it before.
Does anyone have a similar experience and know of a fix?
