Beautiful!

P.S. Is it simply a painstaking manual process to edit/clone out the poles from the finished shot or is there a trick???

There's a BIT of a trick but still quite a lot of work. Full process below

1. attach camera
2. start car and get to about 5 mph
3. turn off engine
4. take pic (about half a second to get the blur)
5. then keeping camera in exact same position & remove rig (tricky)
6. take pic of stationary car
7. cut and paste car over pic with blur
8.... leaving cloning to get rid of rig over road (much easier than car!)

yikes

Ok. I know it's only 5mph, but on a car so nice I wouldn't risk it. Longest 1 second ever, eh?

Most taken up here in the West Highlands - www.Torridon.org to be exact. The hill is Bein Alligin. A few of the pics were taken in the Lake District, where I lived prior to this gaff.
