DB7 "alloy gearbox" is it a different one ??

Hi All,

Could someone kindly enlighten me to this entry I see in some of the classifieds in the adverts on a few V12's (might be on the Super6s as well?) Clearly the standard gearbox is alloy of some form, however was there an optional "lightweight" one or something ?

It's a new one on me. Probably uses snake oil too.

not sure about lightweight, but there are three manual gearboxes fitted to the db7 vantage, two depending on the chassis number and another for the gt.
