DB9 fuse 22?

Getting DB9 at the end of the month.
I asked the salesman if you can remove fuse 22 like you can on the V8 and he said he was not sure.
Can anyone tell me if you can get the proper exhaust sound all the time?

hi there, yes its the same as the v8... fuse 22 will make the exhaust sound mad !! lol.. in the boot on the left hand side... yellow fuse.. have fun !!

Yes you can get it done but it isn't as pronounced as it is in the V8V. Still sound better though...

You pop it back in - sounds quieter, I taped my fuse to the top of the lid so I dont lose it but will (when I get round to it) make the SPORT gbox button open the circuit also

it's the far back corner of the fuse box in the left hand side of the boot.

Labrit it is really easy, presume yours is a DB9, the fusebox required is situated in the boot on the left hand side, remove the cover, using a torch you will see the fuses are numbered, the one you are after is fuse 22 it is yellow in colour and is rated at 20 amps, remove it and save t for if you wish to reinstall it later,

I picked up the 9 from jct600 yesterday and their workshop mechanic uncorked it in half a minute (on the shopfloor) and told me AM Works service charge an hours labour for it! Uncorking stops any error signals showing on the ecu he added.
Must say the sound is better but prefer V8V's note!
Car is fantastic btw.

just sorting out some pictures and instructions and adding to knowledge base to try to make it easy, the fuse numbers are small, i will let you know when i have added this should over the weekend will also show how to block the vaccum pipes instead of removing fuse 22

Hay I can't find Fuse 22 there are a lot of yellows with 20 on them where is it on the site that I can look for diagrams?

20 is the amp rating.

22 is its position in the fuse box (which is in very small raised numerals on the plastic fusebox between the fuses (or just to one side of them - either way, it's very hard to read!).
