I was trying to get rid of the traditional noise coming from my rear wheels by applying hand brake crusing at 20 mph ( I was suggested to do so). But last time I did it ,a message appeared in the dash:"Emergency Braking Assist Failure". The message is on al the time. I still have handbrake power.
Did any of you experience this? Do you know if this will be expensive to fix?(New to AM!)
Cheers

in my experience i would think that the two items are not related as the system does a self test at each start up, the usual fault with this is the brake pressure sensor in the bottom of the master cylinder, it will require a visit to a dealer or specialist, as it will need diagnostic equipment to correctly diagnose, if your car is not under warranty and it is what I think then the repair should cost you between £140.00 to £350.00 dependant on who you use.
