db9 rear seats

how usable are rear seats in a db9? im quite short and in my old e46 m3 there was just about enough room for a comfortable journey in the back. How does a db9 compare to the m3?

What does that mean? There is no special 'tax' depending on number of seats.

anyone know how rear leg room for the volante compares to the m3?

well its ok for my kids (3 and 10) BUT not for an adult.....

I have had a 21 year old in the back of my Volante for short journeys but she is 5 ft 2 ins and would not recommend it - not comparable with three series but you would be surprised what people will put up with to be seen in an Aston

I've got an M3 convertible and a DB9 Volante. Just took 2 12 year old boys to Cornwall in the back of the M3 - would struggle to take them to the end of the road in the DB9 - no comparison unfortunately

It was something I was told regarding Jaguar XKs but the same thing applies

Apparently the import tax is a lot higher on 2 seater cars so to fit into the GT bracket you get so called 4 seats even though you need to have Kylie Minogues (_/_) and your legs removed

Just out of interest, how does the leg room compare to a Jaguar XK8's rear seats?
I can fit in those (not comfortably, but I can fit) at 6 ft, chances are the XK8 will be replaced by a DB9 next March.

Fitting with comfort isn't really a big issue, in the XK8 my head is ducked and my knees are very bent, but for a 30 minute journey it isn't a big deal.
