This looks like it will be a great day, possibly the biggest gathering of Aston Martin cars ever, myself and the lads are going.

no...you do not have to be a member to attend , the event is open to the public , aston owners or not......if you turn up in an aston you may well be parked in the members area , but don't hold your breath..!!!!!

Bristol is the Visitor Class in the concours this year so I'll be there to support the BOC. I've not entered the actual concours as my car is far from shiny enough, but there should be a few other Bristols among the general Aston parking.

what a turn out and so many beautiful cars, amazed at the condition of some of the old cars and the love and attention given to the majority, the pride of the owners is a testament to Aston Martin and makes me proud to be able to be part of it,

We popped along in the afternoon to see the cars. Not an Aston owner but would like to be, tried chatting to an owner but he didn't seem overly interested in speaking. Some beautiful cars there, particularly the older stuff.

Yeah absolutely, I wasn't generalising from that and it didn't put me off. He still answered some questions and he didn't tell me to go away!
