Hi, first post for me on here! Been 2 months now since i've had the V8 and am now looking for ways as the title suggests of making it louder without changing the tone of the exhaust. I've listened to every clip on youtube and posted within these forums but still struggling the best way to go.

Is the solution to keep the stock exhaust and just change to 200-cell cats? If possible I'd particulary like to keep the noise the car makes the first 5 minutes after its turned on, that sort of crackly sound it makes which seems to disappear to become the traditional V8 rumble after.

Any help appreciated.

I was picking up my 7 from Ricks as he was pulling out of his shop with a V8 he'd just fitted an aftermarket system to. It was the loudest V8 AM I've heard and it still had that 'rasp' you're talking about.
