So today I picked up my 2008 Vantage Roadster (Black on black with anthracite wheels), and I have a few questions:

1) How have you not lost your licenses yet?
2) Can my Borough take out a restraining order on the car based on noise?
3) Do you - like me - take every opportunity to slow down just to get a bit of space to hoon it again?
4) Is it possible to get bored of the noise (as I'm not sure it is)?

1) By carefully choosing where and when to give it some - being in France a lot helps!
2) No, but your neighbours might object (which reminds me - when I bought a Griffith many years ago, I found one just a few months old and, after agreeing to buy it, I asked why the previous owner had sold. Turned out he was a GP and his neighbours complained about the noise at all times of the night when he was on call! His loss, my gain!)
3) Of course not hehe
4) Erm...... no

I've had the DB9 for 20 months. Wonderful questions.

1) Luck.
2) Most people LOVE the noise
3) Yes.
4) No... and I am much better at making noise than I was 20 months ago.

I've been out on a few local PH hoons. I would highly recommend the experience.

1) Easy (NOT) - drive it in a lower car (higher revs) around towns / speed limits - lets everyone else enjoy the sound and makes you think a bit more about the speed. NSL roads are difficult though- must practice restraint, must practice restraint...
2) Everyone loves an Aston - especially the sound!
3) Is it childish to do this EVERY time there is a bridge / tunnel wink
4) Noise - any unwanted sound or signal - its NOT unwanted smile However, after a few months of ownership you'll find yourself thinking about exhaust changes to 'enhance' the sound whistle

Time for a new thread - I'm interested in what, for you, constitutes 'impeccable taste in music'??

if you shoot over to the music thread our friend here has uploaded some of his own music.i personally was very impressed and we both seem to have a common interest in very off beat obscure(to most at least)music.
