Guys
My father had two of these lovely, lovely cars when I was a wee boy. Both were daily drivers, one was taken off the road in 1975 and one in 1980. Both were sold in the late 80s for restoration. I would love to know what became of them.
Their details are
570 HPL, Blue with cream leather, DBD specification, built August 1959. Bought by my father in 1973, sold to a farmer in Lincolnshire in summer of 1988
983 HYK, blue with blue leather, standard (DBA) specification, built in July 1959. Bought in 1963 and sold in the summer of 1990
If anyone knows anything about where these cars are now, please let me know.

I bought 570 HPL from Lincolnshire in 1993, spent the next 7 years taking it apart and reassembling. Always thought of it as a ridiculously expensive hobby. Insurers told me to get it valued - had a nervy turn so sold it, subsequently bought by a prime minister of a middle eastern country. There was then a hole in my garage so bought a DB6 manual Vantage with some of the proceeds. This link shows it is as it was when I sold it in 2009.

Found one already but if I was you I would post this on the Feltham section of the AMOC forum where there is a vast knowledge on these cars.
You could also approach Tim Cottingham who is the Club Registrar via the Aston Martin Heritage Trust (AHMT).
Good luck with your search and let us know how you get on.
