Having just bought a 2nd hand V8V MY2009 I wonder if it's really neccessary to read the first owners name every time I enter the car.
Has anyone on here every changed these plates and can estimate a price for that? I don't really need personalized plates in the sill, just AM badge would do.
Or can anyone sell me some plates saying "Built for Selma Hayek".... :-)

And how much are the personalized plates? Rough idea? Local AM dealer doesn't pick up the phone at 11pm... :-)

Find a local engraver and see what they can do. Our local one has a machine to engrave logo text etc etc. He said it would be 20 of the queens English pounds but I have not had a chance to take mine in to him and ask for them.

If you bought from an AM dealer they should replace named plates with standard sill plates. When I bought mine Lancasters did this only after I pointed out that the named plate was still fitted and as a goodwill gesture replaced them with my name on them.

As they are only screwed on and easily changed back, could you do the Aston 'wings' with my lady topaz V12V log in underneath or would there be copyright implications on reproducing the wings?
