Has anyone fitted their own and if so how hard was it to do?

I have been quoted £200 fitted and it seems a little steep so was thinking of having a go myself.

I bought a pair for about £65, then fitting is really simple, and instructions are included. The only faintly difficult bit is:

"Vehicles up to MY07 do not have pre-drilled holes provided in the front road wheel arch liner to accommodate two scrivnuts.
For wheel arch liners without the pre-drilled holes, place the stoneguards into position on the front road wheel arch liner. Using the holes provided in the stoneguard as the template mark the two holes. Remove the stoneguard and drill two 10mm diameter holes"

So, if you have a pre-MY07, then you have to drill two holes in the plastic wheel arch liner (there is no need to drill into anything metal, so no corrosion worries)

For a later car, all the holes are already in place.

From then on, its just a matter of taking out existing screws, put the stoneguard in place, put the screws back. Can be done in 10 minutes per side. Took me 30 minutes because I was being obsessively careful!

I hit one of mine on a speedbump and knocked it loose, so refitted adding silicon sealant, which has made them much more solid.
