After some mats as I did not get any, I thought they were mats but no, thats the carpet smile

So I am not going to buy AM ones at £200 as I look upon mats as throw away items

The carpet is beige so was wondering, do I get a set of beige or black mats.

This is where I was thinking of buying from - http://www.carmats4u.com/Aston-Martin-V8-Vantage-2...

I ordered exactly these a couple of days ago for my '08 Roadster, when they arrive I'll let you know what they're like.

I would stick to black as the main colour.

Would these fit a DB9?

They only list V8V or DB7 BUT I would think the DB9 may well be very similar to the V8V. I am sure someone with more experience will confirm

They've arrived, I chose black with grey edging. They are good for the price, they fit very well, the material is actually a bit plusher than the original carpet. The mats are a blacker black than my carpets if that makes sense. They are rubber backed, they are a bit thinner than I would imagine genuine mats are but not that really cheap thin material a lot of budget mats are made from. The only negative is that the fixing mechanism isnt compatible with the Aston Martin fixing system so you have to "make do" a bit. Total price was just over £46 and IMO they are worth the money and do the job well, I wouldn't have wanted to pay much more though.

What is the AM fixing system?

So people seem to think get black

some twisty plastic toggles on the floor ...nothing special or different to most other manufacturers these days

I have OE mats, and they are nothing particularly special, I got bought them as a present, wouldnt buy them for £250 notes myself, they really are not that good, even in fit IMO

I bought my mats on eBay for £105 delivered. They were genuine Aston black mats so matched my interior perfectly. The fit is OK but nothing special. They do have a fixing system that holds them in place which most after market mats don't have.....I can't bear floor mats that move around. Would I pay more than I paid from a main dealer....not a chance!!!! £350 for overmats is just daft!! Out of interest the floor mats fit V8V, V12V AND DB9...they all have the same front floor plan.

Got my V8 mats from these after being badly let down by another Internet company. For the price the mats are very good. Not an exact fit but you wouldn't really know .Have had them in for 2k miles now and no sign of any wear.
