Anyone tracked a gen 7 celica?
Discussion
I drive a Celica T Sport and whilst i haven't had it on track, there are plenty of others that do take theirs on track and it would make a great track car. Certainly worth checking out se7en motorsports who can help you with anything you would like to know. Also, thoroughly recommend popping over to ccuk for some research.

Hi
I owned a Sports M Celica with a Blitz supercharger kit for a couple of years. I did a driver coaching day in it and did a few track days as well. Apart from the Blitz kit as far as I'm aware the rest of the car was standard Sports M spec. Toyota did make a few upgrades such as lighter seats supposedly seam welded the chassis in places and fittted the Super Strut II suspension.
For a road car it was fast and stable with a very pointy front end and surprisingly fade free brakes for it's size/weight. My best trackday in it was round the Bedford Autodrome on a wet day when I had a lot of confidence in the handling and ABS assisted braking. I was able to pass many cars which might have usually breezed past in the dry. I did film it too but haven't uploaded that as of yet.

I believe there may have been 500 full TRD spec cars initialy with additional adjustable suspension, exhaust, air filter and maybe closer ratios. Mine however was from the second batch which probably lacked the close ratios, air filter and adjutable dampers. Yep it did have an LSD which was another reason it was so good in the wet.
