Love to know how it goes and sounds. First time i've ever seen this conversion.

Interesting exhaust setup. Not what i would have done, looks a bit over complicated and convoluted with 2 external wastegates and 3 outlets but it's whatever works and what the builder wants at the time i suppose.

I hope it's a properly modified engine as it would be a shame to have done all that custom fabrication only to fit a standard lump.

Excellent find thumbup

ETA: Just viewed some more of those pics. It looks like a serious bit of kit with the custom rollcage and built in jacks. Looks like it's built for purpose.

Scrub my comment about the engine. I imagine an extensively modified scooby lump will be doing the honours. Maybe a bored out and stroked 2.5 (2.7+ltrs) with forged everything and big valve heads would be nice.

Why? Because he wants to. Does there have to be a reason?
I'm guessing that they'll offer this a commercial service after the demo car has been finished and I think it would be a great product.
If someone has an old 200bhp 2.5l engine and wanted to make it faster, there aren't many options available apart from buying a Boxster S. A Subaru conversion would give them an easy 300+bhp and probably cost less to maintain. It would make even more sense if their engine had gone pop

Their website here, http://www.precisionchassisworks.com/ also shows a SVX powered 911 and a 914 with an Impreza turbo engine.

How bizzare. Porsche have talked about looking into a flat-four for the next generation Boxster. This project needs more promotion. Do any car magazines know about this?
