Subaru economy run
Discussion
What a long day I have had!
Firstly the wife missed the train up north thanks to southwest trains cancelling trains, and then they would not travel on a later train as the ticket was an advance purchase.
So new return ticket was over 120 for wife and kids. So I set myself a challenge to drop them off 300 miles away using 100 worth of petrol. Considering we usually get 15-18mpg from the car and we needed 30mpg to keep it under £100 fuel.
So I'm back after the 600mile round trip, and have managed just over 33mpg. I have used £98 worth of fuel managed to get the wife and kids to the family for the start of the school holidays. big browny points for me from the in laws.
So TriBeCa SE7 3.0 h6 supercharged Managed to complete the journey without a problem, and can deliver reasonable fuel economy when 6 up fully loaded with luggage.. when driven like Miss Daisy
Now I need a beer...
