Had a go in this last week.

The turbo lag is massive, but when it kicks in you have to hang on! And it sounds AWESOME!

hatches are growing on me, and they can be had for a good price now... what was the exhaust note like (loud, rumble etc)?

I think the Cosworth will still be about £50k, if you can even get one anymore.
It sounded like a rumble then a grumble with a bit of OMG thrown in. Lovely.
