I've just bought a used one of these from a Lexus main dealer - six years old and 51k miles. It's not usually my type of car but I thought I'd try something different as I don't want to use the Boxster S through the winter.

I have to say I'm very impressed. OK it's not a sports car but it's much better than the reviews have led me to believe and everyone I've taken out in it comments on how quiet and comfortable it is to ride in. Also they are amazed when I tell them it's six years old.

So far I've been getting 34 mpg, but I expect this will drop to around 30 when the novely of watching the power generation graphic wears off. One idiot reviewer said it wasn't possible to better 20mpg.

Better still it's got a years warranty and I was amazed to recieve a European breakdown and recovery package covering me for the Lexus and any other car I may be in either as driver or passenger. Amazing.

In fact it's probably one of the few cars that has really exceeded my expectations. I will look at Lexus a little differently in future.

Just bought an RX300 SE-L, as above exceeded my expectations. Never been in a car with so many nice gadgets. Very comfortable, nice place to be. Much thirstier but dont really care, will do early 20's MPG.
