Hi

Just after a bit advie. My dad has just bought an L200 animal, he's uses it for shooting and therfore does a fair amount of off road use.

Currently, it's fitted with 255 55 r18 road tyres and he's looking to change them. The question though, what size can he go up too? The ones that are on currently are small and no use off road.

He's looking at replacing them with General Grabbers but going bigger would increase his options.

Cheers,

Cramman.

Probably a bit late for this but anyway,

When you enter your reg on any web site for tyre sizes they come up with 255/55 18 this is the incorrect size for the L200 Animal.

However, I have had fitted a set of AT General grabbers 255/60 18 (tyre size on the inner drivers door). These tyres because of the thicker tread rubbed on the inner wheel arch.

If you have the same problem raise the suspension on the torsion bars as high as you can get them so that the stops on the upper wish bone dont hit it's stops.
