Chaps
i have a silvia engine.
i have let it stand for about 6 months.
I put on a fresh battery. the engine cranks but will not start. (the occasional cough but that is all) the plugs are sparking
and they are getting fuel
What could the problem be.?
1x red and 1x green light on ecu.

Is it a CA18DET or an SR20DET?

Have you checked the cam angle sensor (on the front of the cam cover) is connected?

Oh so you have an S12? I had one of those for a while but where it was being stored was no longer available so it was scrapped. OK so you are getting fuel and spark so it is going to be a sensor. It should still have a crank angle sensor that needs to be working for the thing to run as well as the MAF sensor (I think it is a MAF sensor).

I would try and read the ecu codes as it is odb1 so if you can get it to cough it should give some errors.
