Hi
My wife is looking to change her old Peugeot 306 and feels the need for 4WD due to rural location and a few bad winters. Personally I am happy with winter tyres but .....
Anyway she has kind of gone off down the SX4 idea until she saw an Urban Cruiser (what a name).
The Cruiser seems a little larger (better to fit the dog in and for holidays).
Has anyone any real time experience of either cars regarding reliability, mpg., running costs etc
Cheers

I'm sure the Urban Cruiser is a bit smaller than the Suzuki, probably worth checking that before you go too far! The rear seats do slide forward though, making the boot much larger.

They are great cars, all built in Japan, and have Toyota's 5yr warranty. I've had two of the 1.33 petrol versions as companys cars not long ago.

Apart form the 4WD system which is unique to the Urban Cruiser they are based on a MK2 Yaris under the skin, and share the same engine found in the Yaris and Auris Diesel.

The only negative in my opinion is the high price, however if you can get an ex-demo or nearly new one it would be seriously worth considering.
