I need a drivers seat as my wife's car seat pin has snapped on the slider, so unable to adjust the seat back and forth.
Its a common problem according to forums, and effects both seats.
Toyotas really are not made like they used to bemad
Toyota want £284 plus Vat for a new seat subframe.
Ive tried the usual searches for parts breakers and get idiots quoting for Non facelift seats only, or full interiors only on ebay and they wont split them.
The pre facelift seat is not the same seat or subrame, as Ive looked into that.
Thanks

The pin can be welded back on, or another similar pin welded into its place. There are couple of threads on corolla club uk and possible some on TOC too.

Not when the pins missing
I think its been hoovered upbiglaugh

Ive seen them threads, but I think there is 2 pins, one being for the slider and one for the seat to move to allow access to the back seats which appears a more common failure.

Update on this,
I had it drilled and a 6mm bolt with a nut on each side which has done the trick nicely, saved about £400 so chuffed, and its better than standard so wont happen again.clap
