GT-86 parking sensors

I'm not keen on the standard optional parking sensors as they look a bit cheap and tacky.
Anyone here used the Parking Dynamics system? It fits behind the bumper so effectively invisible.

Doesn't that go against the remit for the cheap, lightweight, simple coupe?
