Just got my RX-8 and loving it!

It needs a few bits doing on it, currently looking at getting new brakes for it as current ones are a looking a bit worse for wear, any suggestions where to go/what to get??

Cheers for any responses!

I have recently put a set of ET500 brake pads on mine (about £180 for all 4 from Mazdarotaryparts). They havent been on long but they seem a decent step up from OE pads, good bite, decent fade resistance and less dust.

The discs didn't need doing but unless you really want the looks of grooved discs the OE replacements are fine, they are massive anyway and will be fine for any normal usage.

ETA Make sure you follow the bedding-in procedure if you get fast road pads as well.

I used Mintex and good enough for road and light track days. Using Mintex or Pagid on all my cars and I find EuroCarParts (with those 30% discounts) or at http://www.yescarparts.co.uk/ to be reasonably priced.

I bought a full set of slotted/dimpled disc's and EBC pads using a 'reputable' seller on e-bay about 3 years ago. Cost about £450 but looked great through the wheels and lasted well.
