RWD Toyota Aygo GRMN

There were reports in the latter part of 2010 that Toyota was going to bring out an affordable rear wheel drive car based on the Aygo body with a Daihatsu 1.5L 100bhp engine.

Does anybody know if it materialized but just wasn't released in the UK? Was it discontinued? Is it still in the planning process?

I think it was just an excuse to use the "Aygo Crazy" (Toyota GB's concept car that is road registered) for some marketing, cool fun car but the handling was not the best to say the least having actually driven it.

Still want one though

What do you think would need to be done to a regular Aygo and at what cost in order to make a home grown Aygo crazy?
