Basically I'm saving to buy one for my next car.
Late model with Sport kit, full leather and nav pack.
I've been working for Lexus as a mechanic for about 2 years now having worked for Toyota on the same site for 2 years previous.
So what I'm after really is not about reliabilty or any guff like that as I know they are more or less bulletproof (apart from sodding O2 sensors), I want to know what they're like as daily drivers and what they're like to live with.

Absolutely fantastic cars. I've had my IS200SE Auto for over 12 years, bought it as a ex-demo. Now got over 170k on the clock and still find it a great car. Not the fastest car, but enjoyable, sounds good, looks great and rwd is fun!
Only real issues are mpg and tracking needs to be checked regularly, other than that nothing but praise for the car.

Hi, we have a 300 sportcross, as said, tracking's a pain, they scrub off the n/s front in particular after about 8k miles, factory 6 disc in dash autochanger will pack in sooner rather than later if it's actually working in the first place. Drop links also possibly, as it's basically a Toyota, and they're all known for it. Ours had a knock from the front suspension over rough roads for the first few miles when driven first thing, which then went away for the rest of the day. The dealer reckoned this was normal, then spotted a leaking front shocker and changed both under warranty......it hasn't done it since!
Regardless of the above, it's an excellent thing to live with. Lot of car for the money, easy ownership prospect generally.
