Help needed with Evo 8
Discussion
Just wondering if anyone can help with a couple of issues i'm having;
My car seems to be a bit tempremental with starting. Always seems to struggle to start. Takes a good few cranks to start and sounds strange sometimes when cranking. Once started it's perfect. I've got a voltmeter gauge mounted on the dash that sits at around 12v, goes to 0v when starting and up to 14 once started. Would it be the battery?
I also got an advisory with my last service that my N/S/R/I camber bush is worn. Anyone know what bits to replace and what bushes to go for? Phoned a couple of garages with all conflicting info
! it's starting to knock a bit so best get it sorted!
Car is an Evo 8 FQ340MR with 48k
Many thanks!

Most likely the battery. How often is it used? MY GF's car is only used once a week and the battery can get too weak to start it.My EVO always spins over for about a second before firing. Connect another car battery to yours with jump leads and try it then.

Definitely try this. Same thing with my 6. Crappy little battery, that with the first sign of cold weather or being left any time needed jumping. Got rid and put a full size battery in, never had any more problems.My EVO always spins over for about a second before firing. Connect another car battery to yours with jump leads and try it then.
With regards to the bushings, I'd also consider getting onto the MLR (If not already - you may end up with the same conflicting advise
) but you might also gain something from it.HTH
These guys for the camber bush , change all three bushes on both sides imo , best ones are the oem spec or ralliart ones better than poly

Probably a garage job though as you will need a press
As for your battery you say around 12v but what exactly??
