Toyota MR2 Rev 5 exhaust

My friend has just sold my other friend (keep up!) his 2000 V MR2 in Sonic Shadow, for £1k as the exhaust is blowing

We're having trouble getting an exhaust for it, he ideally wants stainless but not massive, and probably upto £200 - it needs to be either decat or include the cat

Any ideas where would make one in the Huddersfield/West Yorkshire area, or any ideas otherwise?

How about picking up a second hand one from an owners forum such as imoc.co.uk?

Do you know where it's blowing from? If it's just a gasket then you can fix it for less than a tenner. If it's just one of manifold/downpipe/cat/midpipe/back box/etc. then you'll get a replacement for less than £100 on eBay. If it's a bit of man-maths trying to justify a whole new exhaust, do as above and get on over to the owners forums for a second hand one. Plenty to be going at, from Mongoose (quiet) and Blueflame (reasonably loud) to Blitz Nur Spec R (ludicrous). Should be able to get a good nick cat-back system for under budget.
