Japan - An automotive excursion
Discussion
Good luck. Which you may need. I've been there twice (about 6 weeks in all) and saw relatively few interesting cars in Tokyo/Kyoto/Nara/Izu.
There was some Sunday showing off in cars around Aoyama Itchome to Shibuya area. Mostly Italian exotica and then a few old classics. I saw relatively few Japanese exotica (no LFAs, etc). And I saw just one NSX in all that time.
But keep your eyes open, even for tiny garages in unpromising streets. This was the car highlight of the last trip:

Hi Rich
We had a great time over in Japan - I don't think we've seen you since we got back. Chris did a write up of our visit to Hiroshima, where we hired an MX5 and met up with our friend and his car club. Also took quite a few photos of other cars we spotted.
