Toyota Alphard / Nissan Elgrand

Anybody know about insurance and parts maintenance for older alphards / elgrands

I've heard that due ti them being imports it can be a real nightmare getting insurance and difficult getting parts ?

I have an e52 elgrand and parts and insurance hasn’t been an issue so far
