For those that are, and found the Evo long term test ringing all too true, have a look at

and lend your support. If we can all act as one then Honda might finally pay attention and get their act together. Use the e-mail address to Auto Express, preferably in the next two weeks, and just point out th problems with the car. Keep it simple.
Thanks.

Have experienced a couple of mystery rattles occasionally, the engine does use a fair bit of oil but that's pretty much all I had on my car. The oil problem seems directly related to how hard I use it so that's easy enough for me to know when to check it. The rattles come and go but I have found that with every single car I have ever driven.

My prelude vtec used oil until I gave it to my wife and then it used none. Speaking to the service guy the vtec engines use oil when in the vtec band and if you use it a lot then check your oil frequently.

im tempted to get the int trim replaced under warranty....if theyll stump up

any advice on tyre choice thinking of pirelli sport as opposed to bidgestone potenza

I had a bit of vibration on the driver side front speaker, mentioned it to Honda at the first service and they fixed it. No biggie.
Mine does use a bit of oil perhaps, and I'm happy I ran it in correctly for the first 1000 or so miles. I wouldn't describe it as particularly extreme usage though. 17k miles and 5l oil, is that more than expected?
