200SX A few questions

I know I should really post on the 200SXOC, but I don't really want to spend time signing up etc. and just need a little advice. I'm considering buying a cheap 200SX S13possibly an import, to use as a daily hack/bit of fun. What sort of things should I look out for, be concerned about, I've seen one with 80k on the clock, it's an auto (I'd prefer a manual) and J reg going for around the £800 mark. I just want something that's a good laugh and that I can carelessly put miles on occasionally pickng the gf up from work, popping over to my parent's house and going to the shops in. Any advice is appreciated. If anyone sees or knows of a good bargain car I'd be grateful if they'd let me know.

Theres normally plenty avaliable so don't go for an auto if you really want a manual. I know they rust so be sure to check all the seals and wheel arches. I would also sign up to sxoc, it only takes a miunte and they've probably got a buyers guide
