Yes.

We took a BMW Z4 M Roadster along to see which was the best drift car currently sold. The 350Z kicked the Beemer's ass. So much more forgiving and adjustable.

Cool.

Nice vid, it does look very easy to control the angle, but that could just be the driver.

Nah - it's the car!

We had a bunch of stuff to play with. The Cayman S was very nicely balanced for sliding fun - better than the BMW in fact, despite its mid engined laytout and no LSD. We also had an Evo FQ-360, and a Lotus Exige S. The Exige was the trickiest of the lot but I got the hang of it after a while. It was funny watching a mate trying to drift it not realising where the traction control off switch was. Audi RS4 - no good, couldn't switch the electronics off.

Why dont we have places like that here

Cool little vid though

Fortunatley my drift efforts last friday weren't captured on film (lots of spinning followed by a rad explosion )

That does look like fun - wouldn't want one to own, but dying to get behind the wheel of one to try what in the vid! Have to say, I find our Z4 Coupe one of the easiest and most forgiving drift tools I've tried considering its lack of LSD - its got so much lock you never seem to run out. I've never tried drifting a Cayman in the dry, but in the wet I was quite surprised at how forgiving it is once sideways.... really satisfying to exit a roundabout with big amounts of opp lock under total control. Exige - interesting choice! yikes Which mag can we look forward to reading about this in?

Well I should be able to see for myself as I pick up my own 350z this Saturday, the VX is just a little too impractical as my only car.
